What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager - Mineral Processing Equipment position at Resource Erectors?
SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the CEO, this person will be responsible for providing overall business leadership, developing marketing & sales strategies, team development, budget development, etc., related to the sale and service of mineral processing equipment throughout North America.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership of all North American operations
- Sales and market penetration throughout North America
- Development of Country-Specific sales activities
- Customer acquisition across all corporate levels
- Technical consulting and product presentation
- Building a high-performance organization
REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced technical and/or business degree required
- Knowledge and/or experience with material handling/mineral processing equipment and related industry applications.
- Demonstrated leadership background
- Must be available for both domestic and international travel (including trade shows, conferences and client meetings)
- Must have a hands-on approach to the business
- Must possess exceptional communication skills
- Technical understanding and willingness to manage the organization
- Intercultural Competence: must have the ability to navigate within a global organization
