You will work closely with the development team to identify and address any issues or defects in the software. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web and performance testing, as well as proficiency in various testing methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks, assess system responsiveness, and ensure the application's stability under various loads.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.
- Identify and report defects, issues, and risks in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, as well as verify fixes.
- Document test results, track defects, and maintain accurate testing records.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web and performance testing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance/Load testing of microservices and web application
- Experience in analysing CPU utilization, Memory usage, Network usage.
- Strong knowledge in programming language such as Python
- Strong knowledge in testing tools and frameworks, such as Pytest, Allure.
- Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter, Postman or any open source performance testing tool.
- Experience in AWS -S3, Cloud watch, Data Dog
- Strong knowledge of Lambda, Kafka, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with SQL and the ability to write database queries.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking in JIRA
- Ability to analyse system requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
