Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, etc.).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing on ServiceNow applications, including configurations and customizations.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure accurate test coverage.
- Leverage automated testing tools (e.g., ATF, Selenium) to build efficient testing processes.
- Test ServiceNow workflows, catalog items, scripts, and UI policies to ensure that all implementations meet specified requirements.
- Perform API testing and data validation for integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Identify, track, and report defects in JIRA or a similar bug-tracking tool and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide input on user stories and acceptance criteria from a QA perspective.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and help maintain the overall quality of the platform by contributing to continuous improvement processes.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, and other QA engineers to create a test automation strategy for the platform.
- 5-6 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years dedicated to ServiceNow QA.
- Experience with ServiceNow testing tools such as Automated Test Framework (ATF) and familiarity with external tools like Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of various ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM) and ability to test both out-of-the-box features and custom applications.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Proficiency in defect management and test case management tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, TestRail,
- Understanding of ServiceNow data models, workflows, and integrations.
- Solid experience in manual testing and the ability to transition to test automation.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of Scripting languages such as JavaScript (for ServiceNow customizations) is a plus.
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator or Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist.
- Experience with Performance Testing and Load Testing for ServiceNow.
- Exposure to DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
