Job Title : Performance Test Engineer
Job Location : Columbus, OH (Remote, if local to Columbus it will be hybrid.)
Duration : 6 Months
Key Skills : 1. Scripting skills
2. Understanding of performance testing process,
3. Knowledge of open-source performance testing tools such as K6, Gatling.
4. Great communication skills.
Qualifications & Skills :
1. Experience with performance testing and engineering concepts, process and best practices.
2. Experience with test automation frameworks; preferably open-source performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, K6 or Gatling.
3. Experience with tools such as LoadRunner or NeoLoad is a plus.
4. Strong skills in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python or JavaScript.
5. Good working knowledge of SQL.
6. Knowledge of API and Web applications performance testing concepts.
7. Experience with API, microservice architecture and cloud platforms.
8. Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools such as Datadog, Grafana or New Relic.
9. Good understanding and experience in Agile methodology.
10. Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or others.
11. Strong skills in interpreting and analyzing performance test results.
12. Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
13. A team player with ability to multi-task; enjoys working in fast paced and high-pressure environment.
14. Passion for quality and excellent attention to detail.
