What are the responsibilities and job description for the Windows Admin position at Resource Logistics?
Roles and responsibilities
Must have knowledge of Ansible, Python, Shell Scripting
- Provide administration of servers in a virtualized server environment using VMware and or Hyper-V management tools
- Provide administration of Windows Server 2008 and 2012 in a virtualized server environment, i.e. Microsoft Clienture or AmClienton AWS
- Provide implementation and administration of DNS and associated networking services
- Effectively monitor Windows Servers using advanced built-in features as well as 3rd party tools
- Troubleshoot server system problems, utilizing available tools and working in coordination with other internal groups and vendor provided technical support resources
- Troubleshoot networking issues related to routing, firewalls, and DMZ Clienthitecture
- Work with other unit members to monitor and ensure compliance with corporate security policies.
- Use a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving
- Document complex system configurations, processes, and procedures
