RMC is hiring for a Computer Network Architect, Intermediate who will provide support to a DoD environment at Patuxent River, MD.
The selected applicant will possess:
- Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
- Perform network emulation/virtualization, analysis, and planning.
- May also design network and computer security measures.
- May install and upgrade systems software and maintain software configuration management.
- May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure configuration control procedures are followed for all work activities.
- Document maintenance, repair and test activities.
- Perform DISA STIG compliance measures across multiple environments.
Education Requirement:
- A Bachelor’s Degree, or Sec , or SSCP, or GSEC
- 3 years of experience in related infrastructure network and system administration work is required.
Certification Requirement:
- The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security CE equivalent, or greater).
Clearance Requirement:
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.
- Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $104,000 to $139,000 (annually).
