RMC is hiring for a Computer Programmer, Advanced who will provide support to an DoD environment at Patuxent River, MD.
The selected applicant will possess:
- Create, modify, and test the code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to aid in the IT systems administration, data transfer/transport, security, and operations.
- Work from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals.
- May assist software developers by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions.
- May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure configuration control procedures are followed for all work activities.
- Document maintenance, repair and test activities.
- Perform DISA STIG compliance measures across multiple environments.
Education Requirement:
- A Master’s Degree, or CISSP, or CASP
- 7 years of experience in related infrastructure network and system engineering work is required.
Certification Requirement:
- The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security CE equivalent, or greater).
Clearance Requirement:
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.
- Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $106,000 to $142,000 (annually).
