- Identify and maintain the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and support documentatio n
- Responsible for configuration change control and configuration status accountin g
- Support the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related softwar e
- Provide technical writing related to generation of fleet documentation including targeting, operational, and training documentatio n
- Track all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuratio n
- Conduct configuration audit s
- Translate business specifications into user documentatio n
- Apply Department of Defense and Weapons Systems standard concepts, practices, and procedures in support of document effort s

- Active DoD Secret clearance is required to star t
- H.S. Diploma or GE D
- IAT Level II (Information Assurance Technical) or higher DOD 8140 under specialty area 43 (Security ) within 60 days of start.
- Three (3) years' of experience demonstrating both a comprehensive knowledge of word processing, software applications, office practices, and skill in applying software functions to prepare complex and detailed documents in Microsoft (MS) Office, preparing or maintaining software and documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation and user documentatio n
- Working knowledge of Linu x
- Experience in translating business specifications into user documentatio n
- Experience in planning, writing, maintaining systems, user support documentation efforts, and possess a working knowledge of Department of Defense and Weapons Systems standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience in technical writing related to generation of fleet documentation including targeting, operational, and training documentatio n
- Experience in documentation, change report handling, and accountability via Configuration Management (CM) tools such as Atlassian Jira and Atlassian Confluenc e

.Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $85,000 to $95,000 annually
