RMC is hiring an Information Security Analyst for the role of Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO) to support our NAVAIR customer in Patuxent River, MD. The selected applicant will perform a variety of Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including but not limited to:
- Serving as an ISSO, performing duties IAW the eMASS ISSO role; providing support to ISSEs, as appropriate
- Assisting more senior staff and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior staff
- Assisting Lead ISSOs with completion of Memorandum for Records (MFRs)
- Assisting with preparation/updates of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation
- Reviewing and maintaining DON Application and Database Management (DADMS) entries for program-specific software
- Ensuring System Authorization Access Requests (SAAR) for new hires and modifications are completed and submitted to the NAVAIR National Helpdesk Service Management for processing
- Assisting with processing Information Technology Purchase Requests (ITPRs)
- Processing privilege access agreements (PAAs) for new hires
The applicant must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience with IT systems and subsystems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team
- Ability to work on classified systems (i.e., SIPRNet) within secure environments
Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000.
- An AA/AS degree and up to three (3) years of relevant experience are required. A High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of additional experience performing work related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for an Associate’s Degree.
- The applicant must meet the certification and clearance requirements established IAW the DoD Manual 8570.01-M. The applicant must have one of the following certifications to start:
- Security CE
- CAP / CGRC
- GSLC
- CND Cloud
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. The applicant may be subjected to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- The selected applicant must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in NAVAIR environments.
