RMC is hiring for a Network Administrator who will provide support to an RDT&E environment at Patuxent River, MD.
The selected applicant will possess the following skills:
- Provide application support to the Network Infrastructure, Private Cloud, and RDT&E environment.
- Assist in the install, configuration, and maintenance an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
- Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
- Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
- Assist in analyzing network and server resource consumption and control user access.
- Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
- Assist with network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining DoD security measures and provide artifacts to maintain system accreditation.
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team in RDT&E environments.
- A Bachelor’s Degree and zero to three (0-3) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required.
- Six (6) years of additional related work experience or an Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Certification Requirement:
- The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security CE).
Security Clearance Requirement:
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.
- Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

**Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $70,000 to $90,000 (annually).
