RMC is hiring for a Network and Computer System Administrator, Advanced who will provide support to a DoD environment onsite at Patuxent River, MD.
The selected applicant will possess:
- Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data
- communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
- Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
- Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
- Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
- Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
- May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure configuration control procedures are followed for all work activities.
- Document maintenance, repair and test activities.
- Perform DISA STIG compliance measures across multiple environments.
Education Requirement:
- A Master’s Degree, or CISSP, or CASP
- 7 years of experience in related infrastructure network and system administration work is required.
Certification Requirement:
- The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security CE equivalent, or greater).
Clearance Requirement:
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.
- Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $108,000 to $144,000 (annually).
