We are looking for a Network Infrastructure Expert with a strong background in Cisco Routers, Switches, IDS/IPS, Firewall, CUCM, VoIP and Wi-Fito support an upcoming contract with the Department of the Navy onsite in Port Hueneme, CA. This role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Information Technology (IT) team assisting in supporting a complex matrix organization and sponsor-driven requirements to develop IT tools that can be used across different organizational boundaries. The position will help maintain Navy standard RDT&E applications and infrastructure, while staying updated on emerging technologies to improve mission and business efficiency. The work will involve creating an integrated IT architecture within a Navy-authorized network environment and ensuring compliance with Department of the Navy cybersecurity policies.
- Minimum of five years of Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 Infrastructure experience
- Minimum of five years of Firewall, IDS/IPS, CUCM, VoIP and Wi-Fi administration and configuration experience
- Proficient with gathering cable management requirements and execution of those requirements
- Minimum of five years securing a Cisco environment in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs)
- Interim DoD SECRET Clearance is required to start. Personnel may be required to obtain and maintain a TS clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
o Minimum of five years of experience with scoping, architecture and design of new LAN/WAN network infrastructure including EKMS cryptographic devices and long-haul requirements

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $138,000 to $185,000 (annually).
