Senior Cable Installer

RMC is hiring a Senior Installer to support our customer in Bethesda, MD.  The selected applicant will be expected to install and maintain the RDT&E communications network.

• Overseeing a small team of installers, ensuring they follow proper procedures, and maintain quality standards; providing training and mentorship when neede

• Conducting surveys and assessments of installation sites to determine the scope of work and any special requirement
s
• Coordinating installation schedules, ensuring that timelines align with both the customer's availability and team capacit
y
• Installing Ethernet and fiber optic networks, network components, and network interface device
s
• Installing DAS wireless equipment; antennas, coaxial, Cat 5/6/7 cable, fiber optic, et
c
• Testing and troubleshooting various low-volt cables, Cat5, Cat6, coax, and fiber (Fluke, OTDR, Light
)
• Conducting site surveys and creating/updating floor plan
s
• Routing, pulling, and dressing cable
s
• Splicing, terminating, and labeling copper and fiber optic cablin

• Inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting cable equipmen

The current salary range for this position will be $80,000 to $110,000 (annually
