Senior Cloud Engineer

RMC is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in cloud infrastructure design and implementation to support various business initiatives and workloads in a compliant and secure environment.

Duties Include{​{:}}

·        Assist A&A team to develop technical documentation required for ATO submission(s

)·        Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure to support RDT&E workload

s·        Automate infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) to minimize overhead required to support cloud and hybrid cloud environmen

t·        Help develop best practices and policies for hybrid cloud environment

.·        Maintain and further develop COSMOS pilot program for ITD's customers to have a prototyping environmen

s·        Experience in cloud engineering or related technical roles, specifically within Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

.·        Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

.·        Experience with cloud-native application design, deployment, and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)

.·        Proficiency in automation scripts using Python, Terraform, or similar technologies

.·        Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices, including compliance requirements for government environments (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP)

.·        Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure performance and reliability of cloud workloads

.·        Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

.·        Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude to identify and address potential issues in cloud infrastructure

.·        Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable

The current salary range for this position will be $80,000 to $120,000 annuall
