RMC is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support our Navy customer in Indian Head, MD. Responsibilities will include{{:}}
- Assisting the Quality Director with departmental quality management system audits and reports
- Assisting department quality POCs and Quality Director with branch audits to identify gaps in the QMS
- Assisting department quality POCs and Quality Director with process audits, from planning to execution to delivery, and providing reports that identify gaps in the QMS and any areas for improvement.
- Assigning and tracking corrective/preventive actions in accordance with NAVSEA standards
- Gathering and publishing monthly metrics for corrective/preventive actions.
- Facilitating root cause analysis and guiding teams to identify issues and put corrective actions in place
- Performing audits on corrective actions and root causes to validate if the processes are improving
- Training personnel on how to document corrective and preventive actions using the CAPA database
- Training personnel on the different ways to conduct root cause analysis and when it is applicable
- Executing the deliverables identified by the quality management system community of practice sprinter team.
- Participating as a quality engineer on the engineering review panel for projects
- Enforcing the counterfeit material program; Ensuring the Command is compliant for IG inspections
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field, plus 7 years of relevant experience.
- Direct experience supporting a Quality Management System. Formal ISO 9001 training is ideal.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
