System Administrator

RMC is hiring for a System Administrator who will provide System Administrator support to an RDT&E environment.  The selected applicant will manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of windows workstations and servers and perform hardware and software installations. 

The selected applicant will possess the following: 

·        Support virtual and physical workstation and server configurations.

·        Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in a classified or unclassified network environment.

·        Provide Windows 10 workstation and Server 2019 administration.

·        Support the virtualization of Windows and Linux systems.

·        Provide ACAS/Nessus vulnerability and scanning support.

·        Support the maintenance and administration of Microsoft Active Directory.

·        Monitoring performance including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity, and availability.

·        Support ISSOs in implementing and supporting cyber security standards to include NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF) C&A Standards and project reporting requirements.

·        Create and maintain Active Directory user accounts and install hardware/software.

·        Perform system backup and recovery.

·        Perform PKI maintenance for DoD systems.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.

A high school diploma and three to ten (3-10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required. 

Certification Requirement:

·        The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security CE).

Clearance Requirement:

·        An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start. 

·        Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary Range for this position is: $80,000 to $120,000 annually.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements.
