Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Preliminary Assessments.
- Prepare and write comprehensive reports including Remedial Investigation Reports (RIR), Remedial Action Reports (RAR), and other NJDEP compliance documents.
- Perform subsurface evaluations and soil/groundwater sampling as required.
- Work with a collaborative team of professionals to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Manage and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide field oversight and manage site inspections in various environmental settings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant environmental consulting experience (open to candidates with more experience as well).
- Strong technical writing skills, particularly in NJDEP report preparation.
- Experience in Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments, Preliminary Assessments, RIR, RAR, and subsurface evaluations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be proactive in task management.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- A "go-getter" personality with the drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field (preferred).
Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000
