Heavy Equipment Operator Lewiston, ME
ReSource Lewiston is a Construction & Demolition (C&D) waste processing facility where the heavy equipment operators are required to assist in the unloading of inbound vehicles, stacking, storing and feeding of C&D material, and the loading of outbound vehicles with recycled materials and residual waste.
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation and daily preventative maintenance of the assigned equipment (excavator, front-end loader).
- Must possess knowledge of the operation of heavy equipment and work in a fast pace environment.
- Must have the ability to exercise good judgment and be able to focus on detail as required by the job, as well as multitask.
- Typical work week 45-55 hours. Applicants must be available to work any assigned shift.
- Minimum 2 yrs experience with Heavy Equipment Loader/Excavator.
- Mechanical background a plus.
