Job Requirements:
- At least a few years of experience as a Paper Folder Operator
- Proficiency in operating Stahl, Heidelberg, and MBO folder machines
- Knowledge of different types of folds and the ability to run jobs independently
- Ability to follow job specifications accurately
- Experience performing preventive machine maintenance
- Ability to make adjustments during production runs to meet quality standards
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and reach
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up all folding machines (Stahl, Heidelberg, MBO) accurately according to job specifications
- Perform preventive maintenance as outlined in machine manuals
- Adjust machinery during production runs to ensure quality requirements are met
- Feed and catch off folders and stitchers, ensuring smooth operation
- Operate all bindery equipment safely and according to company standards
- Ensure that completed jobs are packed or stacked properly and in correct quantities
- Assist the Bindery Manager with supervising equipment and bindery assistants
