Manufacturing company is looking for Cable Assemblers for their 1st shift to work in the City of Chatsworth.
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Days: Monday – Friday
Pay: $19.00 per hour – DOE

The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling from sub-assembly to the finished unit in accordance with drawings, travelers, and manufacturing procedures.
Responsibilities • Performs Electro-Mechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope. • Assembles ultra-miniature assemblies or is fully proficient in a specific product line. • Operates standard shop equipment including solder iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner and ovens. • Reworks improperly functioning units. • Communicates with calibration department to assure accurate assembly and proper functioning of units. • Performs continuous cross training to increase skills and knowledge. • Solders miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift. • Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal supervision. • Performs other duties as assigned
Must have experience working with a microscope to solder small components for 8 hours a day maximum
• 2 years of experience
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to understand assembly drawings, schematics and work instructions
• IPC-610 or J-STD Certified
• Must be able to operate standard manufacturing equipment:
o Soldering irons
o Spot welders
o Tweezers
o Microscopes
o Ovens
