Duties and Responsibilities
• Is responsible for the operation of the waste water treatment system and equipment.
• Is responsible for ensuring that the waste water effluent meets all requirements of the discharge permit.
• Is responsible for the makeup of new chemical solutions.
• Is responsible for additions of chemicals to chemical solutions.
• Is responsible for chemical treatment, filtration, and transfer of chemical solutions.
• Is responsible for proper disposal of chemical solutions.
• Is responsible for accurate record keeping of chemicals and supplies from receiving to decrement.
• Responsible for cleanliness of waste treatment and chemical storage areas.
• Is responsible for maintaining all chemical handling equipment.
• Must read, familiarize and follow completely department procedures and chemical handling safety rules.
• Is responsible for ensuring that all containers are properly labeled
