Company located in Clearwater, FL is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist Supervisor
Job Details:
Seeking a 2nd shift Supervisor to lead 2nd shift Machining operations. This role is responsible for the production volume and output quality of the second shift. Must have strong knowledge in machine setups in order to supervise others and fill in where needed.
Hours: 2nd shift: Mongay to Friday 2:30pm to 11:30pm with some Saturdays depending on workload / needs.
Pay: $30-$35/hr depending on experience.
The shop has a CNC HAAS Milling machine, CNC Lathe Okuma 10 & Okuma 10 SS and Okuma 12 with OSB 300 L Control (Okuma 10SS and 12 running with sub-spindle live tooling). Our machines are 3-Axis, 4-Axis and 5-Axis, working with aluminum, plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
- Supervise the 2nd shift team.
- Direct and train operators to follow processes.
- Set up and tear down work orders based on product schedule.
- Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers, micrometers)
- Responsible for making G and M Code adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain tolerances.
- Perform basic routine maintenance of machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs)
- Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records.
- Observe all safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner.

Required experience & qualifications:
5-10 years of CNC Machining manufacturing experience utilizing aluminum.
- Experienced as a Supervisor, able to train and guide a small team.
- Fluent in Okuma“Y” Lathes with live tooling and HAAS Mills.
- Working knowledge of Algebra, Geometry and can do metric to imperial conversions.
- General knowledge of G-code and M-code.
- Fluentin GD&T and machining blueprint reading.
- Skilled in part inspection and accountable to quality of parts.
Salary : $30 - $35
