Job Title: CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift
Company: Special Mold Engineering
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Business: Mold Base Manufacturer
Shift Time: 2nd Shift – 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday (55 hours a week)
Pay Rate: $24-27/hr may go up to $30/hr depending on experience
Job Description:
- Tight Tolerances: Candidates should be familiar with tight tolerances. Please specify your experience with tolerances, particularly two ten-thousandths of an inch (.0002).
- Large Pieces: Experience working with large pieces up to 50″ x 80″.
- Offsets and Tool Changes: Comfortable performing offsets and tool changes. Please describe your experience in this area.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Please provide details of your experience.
- Overhead Crane/Forklift: Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus.
Job Notes:
- 10% shift premium for second shift.
- Climate-controlled shop.
- Paid lunch.
- Candidates with experience at PCS Company or Mac Mold, or those who have made molds before, are highly preferred.
- Dress code: Jeans/work pants (no shorts).
- Equipment: Makino and Awea machines with Fanuc Controls.
PPE: Safety glasses provided; steel-toe shoes not provided.
