Manufacturing Company is looking for a CNC Operator.
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Days: Monday – Friday
Pay: $25.00 DOE
Brief Description
This role is responsible for the setup, operation and monitoring of CNC lathes and milling machine centers to
match blueprint specifications.
Responsibilities
• Sets up and operates CNC lathes and milling machine centers.
• Evaluates parts to match with blueprints specifications, such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling
instructions.
• Adheres to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications,
using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Operates bench grinder to sharpen tools.
• Completes daily maintenance.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Cleans and maintain work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED equivalent or any combination of education and experience
• 5 years of CNC Machining experience
• Exp with Haas, Mazak and Daewoo preferred
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and processes in a Machine Shop environment.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• The ability to read, Interpret, speak, and write clearly.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Must be a local candidate
