TITLE: CNC Operator
PAY: $22.00 (DOE)
SHIFTS : 6:00 am – 2:30pm (occasional weekends)
LOCATION: West Columbia, SC
- CNC Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage CNC Machines
- Perform finishing operations
- Measure and record workpieces
- Conduct maintenance tasks
- Machining of steel blade cores per blueprint requirements
- Quality control of machined products
- Correction of defective machining conditions
- Make machine setups, choose cutting tools, and write or modify basic CNC Programs
- Utilize micrometers, dial and/or digital indicators and calipers
CNC Operator Job Requirements:
- Two years of machine shop experience/training.
- Understand basic M Code and G Code programming
- Interpret engineering mechanical drawings
- Basic shop math to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
