What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Assembler position at ResourceMFG?
Employbridge is looking for a skilled assembler to put together custom metal work benches and tables in a manufacturing environment. This is a six month project with full time hours, target start is January 2025.
- Day shift, Mon-Fri
- $20 per hour
- Weekly pay
Duties Include:
- Assemble furniture pieces according to blueprints and pictures of finished product.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure fastening.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or defects.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble furniture.
- Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
Requires:
- Detail focus to ensure furniture assembled correctly and safely; identify and correct any potential problems
- Technical skills and Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Familiarity with hand and power tools and different types of hardware
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
- Problem-solving skills to figure out the best way to assemble custom furniture pieces
- Math for calculating measurements and dimensions
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Steel or composite toe shoes
- Basic math
- Mechanical skills
- Detail Oriented
