Seeking a Machine Operator for an Injection Molding company in Temecula, CA
Shift: 1st- 6:30AM-3:00PM
Payrate: $20/hr
The job duties of an injection molding operator include working to set up and operate machines that shape plastic or other materials through a process called injection molding.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working in a manufacturing setting and preparing your machine for each production run.
- Set equipment based on blueprints or design directions.
- Monitor production to ensure quality during the process
- Clean and perform maintenance on your equipment
- All other general warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing, injection molding, or mechanical systems is highly preferred.
- Experience with equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and quality inspection processes.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) tools and software, such as Supercep, is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for documentation and reporting.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform equipment adjustments and basic maintenance.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols, including LOTO procedures.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds regularly/occasionally and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, or reach overhead as needed.
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to operate tools, equipment, or machinery.
- Visual acuity to read, operate equipment, or monitor surroundings.
- Hearing ability to understand instructions and respond to safety signals in a noisy environment.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and outdoor/indoor environments.
