INVENTORY DATA ENTRY CLERK

summary Company located in Largo is seeking for an Inventory Data Entry Clerk. Position Overview : This data entry position is responsible for entering purchase order confirmations received from the vendors and making any necessary PO revisions. Essential Job Functions : Review and identify emails for vendor / factory confirmations. Review in detail all information on the PO confirmations and identify any discrepancies. Contact buyers, vendors, and or supervisor to resolve discrepancies. Once confirmation is correct, will update all the information in Hit systems, sign and scan the confirmations back to the vendors so that production can proceed. Review and identify any email regarding po vendor changes. Will revise purchase orders, update systems, and return a revised po back to the vendor / factory. Identify any purchase order that requires pre-production samples or compliance testing. Communicate these requirements internally with Quality Assurance or Product Compliance teams. Identify missing confirmations and communicate these with the vendors / factories. Run weekly reports for the logistics team for updating container arrival dates. Follow up weekly with vendors / factories to assure production schedules and promise ship dates are met. Hours : Monday to Friday 7am to 3 : 30pm. (Potential overtime when needed) Train onsite then the position will be remote. Pay rate : $18-$22 / hr. depending on relevant experience.
