summary ResourceMFG is in need of a skilled Maintenance Technician for one of our Heat Treating facilities in Ferndale. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and systems. The maintenance mechanic will also be responsible for maintaining safe work practices and procedures, as well as assisting in the overall preventative maintenance program. 1st shift : 6a-2 : 30p (On-Call Emergencies) Pay : 22$-29$ Location : 9 mile & Woodward Please apply if you meet the requirements below. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhaul on equipment, systems, and machinery in a manufacturing environment Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems Perform equipment upgrades or replacements as needed Clean and maintain work areas and general building condition including floors, stairs, walls, etc. Complete paperwork as required. Complete required training. Must be flexible to cover after hours and weekend issues, as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with a stable work history preferred Basic computer / data / communication skills required Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; or experience and knowledge of the following basic functions : electrical; hydraulic; pneumatic; assembly; mechanic; carpentry; flooring; painting; etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities efficiently Ability to work with minimal supervision and assist others without supervision required-skills : QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with a stable work history preferred Basic computer / data / communication skills required Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; or experience and knowledge of the following basic functions : electrical; hydraulic; pneumatic; assembly; mechanic; carpentry; flooring; painting; etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities efficiently Ability to work with minimal supervision and assist others without supervision required-experience : Maintenance Technician
