Company located in Clearwater is hiring now for a Mechanical Assembler.
Pay rate: $17-$18/hr.
1st Shift (Monday-Friday) 7am to 4pm.
Job Description
- Assemble products with a high level of speed and accuracy
- Maintaining highest quality and keep up with demand.
- Perform assembly operations to build light fixtures and accessories.
- Assembly requires riveting using a compressed air rivet gun
- Siliconing parts, twisting on parts, cleaning finished products and packaging
- Depending on skill, soldering of small electronic components for electronic assembly.
- Maintaining workspace and assigned tools
- Familiarity with materials and components – we will train
- Continuous training and learning of new products and materials
- Observe and follow safety rules and regulations specific to your work area.

Job Requirements
• Experience working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tools, including, but not limited to hand tools, torque wrenches and drivers.
• Knowledge of soldering tools, multi-meters a plus!
• Able to read and follow instructions and understand basic technical drawings.
• Good communication and positive attitude.
Physical Demands
The Mechanical Assembler must have ability to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 30 and 50 pounds. The ability to stand up to a total of 8 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting. Repetitive work 2 to 4 hours at a time. This position requires manual dexterity and constant use of hands to assemble using manual and power tools.
Salary : $17 - $18
