ResourceMFG has a great opportunities for CNC Machine Operators within a machine shop environment for the aerospace industry located in Chatsworth, CA.
- Pay: $18.00 per hour
- Hours: 3:00pm – 11:30 – Overtime and weekends availability required
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Able to go through training period in the morning

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate all CNC turning machines within a Primary subgroup to produce a variety of standard and non-standard parts to close tolerances and exacting finish specifications.
- Refer to Shop Order and Engineering Drawings for dimensions, tolerances, finishes and number of parts to be machined.
- Follow established procedures, verbal instructions, and information obtained from set-up sheets and layout sheets to operate machines.
- Use micrometers, venires, optical comparator, microscope, and a variety of fixed and adjustable gauges to check work.
- Produce parts for First Article inspection and check parts periodically; make adjustments to correct variances and maintain required tolerances and quality.
- Diagnose and correct operating difficulties.
- Work subject to process inspection; screen parts for established defect characteristics.
- Maintain necessary records. Detect and report unusual conditions and special problems to proper supervisor.
- Move materials, parts, and containers, as required, in performance of duties or as directed.
- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and conform to OSHA regulations.
- Keep work area in clean orderly condition.
