What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Inventory Control position at ResourceMFG?
Employbridge is hiring a Production Inventory Control associate for one of the largest manufacturing plants in Albuquerque. The Production Inventory Control associate manages inventory on the production floor, performs cycle counts and adjusts when necessary, and investigates differences to correct and improve the backflush process. This is a 90-day contract to hire opportunity.

- 1st Shift: M-F, 7:15pm-3:45pm
- Up to 20 hours of Overtime Required

Production Inventory Control Duties:
- Communicates respectfully with all team members
- Contributes to production though defined inventory practices, (accurate & timely transactions, ensuring correct physical counts, and reconciliation)
- Receives, counts, stores production stock items and records data, manually and using computer
- Performs counts/audits of backflush locations
- Compares actual physical counts against book inventory, and performs necessary recounts
- Makes necessary entries into KBM system
- Investigates nature and cause of the discrepancy, recommends changes
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Previous experience doing physically demanding work in factory environment
- Prior inventory experience
- Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs
- Can work up to 20 hours of overtime to meet Business Objectives
- Can work a weekend schedule as needed
- Must interact, communicate and work effectively with all plant employees and visitors.
- Demonstrate a working relationship with both internal and external customers.
- Possess team orientation toward accomplishing plant and company goals.
