A large formulator and manufacturer of nutritional bar and functional powder products is seeking a sanitation worker to join their team.
Temp to hire opportunity with great benefits such as Holiday pay, PTO, Health Benefits and 401k once hired.
Schedule: Rotating work week schedule and must be open to working weekends, hours are 3pm-3:30am
Pay: $18/hr
- Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment
- Dispose of waste along the assembly line
- Sweep and mop the floors
- Dust ventilation ducts to ensure proper airflow
- Refill soap and hand towels in the bathrooms
- Report potential issues to management
- Washes containers, vessels, utensils, processing equipment and parts
- Ensures that residual material is removed and that the equipment is thoroughly cleaned
- Rinses washed equipment thoroughly to remove soap residue
- Stores clean equipment on a manner that prevents contamination
- Labels cleaned equipment with identification that indicates the equipment is clean
- Pre-employment screenings
- Resume needed and interview with client
- Previous background in sanitation lead
- Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools and equipment of sanitation service
- Ability to communicate efficiently with Supervisor/Leads
- Great attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate and read labels in English (Bilingual a plus)
- Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
