Now Hiring Saw Operator in Canton – 4 day work week!

1st Shift: 6:00am – 4:30pm

Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday

Pay: $18.00

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for performing production activities on all saws, including vertical, horizontal, etc.

• Reviews work orders, tooling instructions or other written specifications. 

• Positions work pieces for processing; may operate a combination of different saws to process.

• Installs and aligns specified cutting blades or other fixtures using gauges, templates, feelers, shims or hand tools.

• Adjusts controls to set cutting speed, depth and feed rates.

• Operates saws during processing as required based on workload or business needs. • Measures and examines pieces using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, scales and squares to ensure conformance to specifications.

• Performs In Process Quality Inspections; Performs quality control inspections on finished product per AS 9100 quality contro standards.

• Diagnoses problems and makes necessary adjustments and removes scrap from machine.
