Now Hiring Shipping & Receiving Associate in the Kinston area!!!
Monday – Friday 7 am- 3:30 pm Possible over time
Payrate will be determined during Interview
ResourceMFG is seeking a skilled and experienced shipping & receiving associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Previous experience is required. The shipping & receiving associate will also be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, performing routine maintenance on the forklift and operating when needed, ensuring a safe working environment while maintaining a clean environment. Including performing other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
- Gather, prepare and ship orders to the customer.
- Receive, check in, and store materials, parts and cartons to ensure accurate and efficient inventory control.
- *Utilize Receiving App to: Check received items against packing list or purchase order for quantities, size, weight and condition
Fill out receiving copies, report shortages, damaged or defective material.
Bar code or otherwise identify received items to show part number, quantity, description
Forward copies of purchase orders, shipping papers etc., according to established procedure.
- *Utilize Shipping App to:
Pick and stage outgoing truck and UPS/FedEx shipments, both domestic and foreign
Prepare shipping labels, determine and apply appropriate postage or fees
