What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at ResourceOne?
Moore- ResourceOne Division is looking for Driver to help with transporting. This is a dual role, when not driving you will be expected to take on duties onsite of an expeditor.
Job Summary:
The role of Driver is a dual role. You will be responsible to ensure a smooth transition of the mail from the ResourceOne facility into the USPS mail stream, following established processes for inventory control and tracking. When you are not driving it's expected of you to take on the duties of an expeditor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ALL Mail Transport Equipment (MTE):
- Report inventory on hand before Wednesday every week
- Advise Manager of MTE needs
- Check in and offload inbound MTE trucks
- Stage MTE in designated areas for plant/UP use
- Pull all MTE generated by UP that has been correctly prepped and wrapped and disburse to either the mailshop or USPS
- Use yard dog and the trailers in the yard to rotate stock available based on facility needs
- Assist and Support Weigh Verification (WV) Area
- Train in Weigh Verification area to learn and comprehend the verification process
- Remove verified Resource One pallets coming off the wrapping station and stage mail in appropriate area, keeping pallets in job and version order
- Remove UP pallets coming off the wrapping stations and bring to dock to stage of outbound loads
- Assist WV clerks by bringing down pallets from other operations for verification when needed
- Assist WV clerks by pulling UP pallets from their production area when needed
- Continuously remove verified pallets from the racks along the south wall and stage accordingly
- Be familiar with the WV operation and recognize when the clerks need assistance with strapping, wrapping, and moving pallets and provide that assistance accordingly
- Responsible for trips to the Tulsa P&DC to enter mail/acquire MTE
- Certified DOT will take finalized pallets of mail to the Tulsa P&DC daily, working with the statement office to identify which pallets are to be loaded for transport
- Drivers will need to take any full rate mailings to the BMEU area at the Tulsa P&DC for entry
- Drivers will pick up any additional MTE needed by the mail shop from the P&DC
- Drivers will be responsible for taking mail to the plant on the last run of the day
- Performs other duties as required

- Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous mail shop or production experience is a plus
- Previous dock experience is a plus
- Forklift Experience (Resource One will certify)
- Power Jack Experience (Resource One will certify)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to consistently lift 50lbs
- Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and move about the facility
- Required to grip twist and turn both hands for long periods of time
