Data Center Engineer

Requirements

• 3 5 years of hands-on experience as a Server Engineer in data center environments.
• Proficiency in VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM hypervisors (3 5 years of experience required).
• Experience with configuring and installing firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless appliances.
• Experience with Cisco, Dell, or Aruba enterprise switches and Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Juniper devices.
• Experience in SAN setup, iSCSI/NFS storage, and site-to-site or remote VPN deployments.
• Experience with DNS (internal/external), OOBM tools, and physical cabling like Ethernet/Fiber/DAC.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to convey technical topics clearly to business users.

Responsibilities

• Deploy new infrastructure and assist in standing up a new data center from scratch.
• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise server/network systems.
• Handle hardware installations, system configurations, and production-ready deployments.
• Document network/system diagrams and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and provide on-site hands-on problem resolution.
• Support day-to-day operations, system maintenance, and client service tickets.
• Work full-time on-site with occasional overnight travel between locations.
