Data Governance Consultant

Requirements:

• 8 or more years in compliance data roles with strong hands-on experience in BSA/AML using Actimize.
• Proficiency in Data Governance and Data Quality across regulated environments.
• Experience in implementing data solutions aligned with BCBS 239, 504, or 20252a standards.
• Experience with DG/DQ platforms such as Ataccama, Informatica, or Collibra.
• Experience in financial services consulting, including Big Four or quant-driven firms.
• Experience with Python scripting, data APIs, and scalable data pipelines.
• Strong communication skills for alignment across technical and compliance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee execution of governance frameworks and regulatory data quality initiatives.
• Creating data dictionaries, defining CDEs, and documenting data lineage.
• Designing and applying DQ rules for critical financial datasets.
• Analytics-based monitoring to maintain high data reliability.
• Enterprise tools such as Snowflake, Salesforce, and Microsoft Suite.
• Wire systems including Finastra, Finzly, IBS, and ACH platforms.
• Communicate governance goals clearly across stakeholders and compliance functions.
