Job Details
Requirements:
- 8 or more years in server/network infrastructure incl. racking, cabling, configuration, and maintenance
- Proficiency in router/switch/firewall setup and troubleshooting
- Experience in IP subnetting, VLANs, routing, and network licensing
- Experience with Linux-based systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Experience in virtualization environments incl. clustering, backup, and VSAN architecture
- Experience with Windows and Active Directory administration, both local and remote
- Strong communication skills for collaborating across teams and documenting infrastructure
Responsibilities:
- Lead physical infrastructure activities such as server racking, BIOS/iDRAC setup, and hardware maintenance
- Proficiency in managing structured cabling and network infrastructure including POE, copper, and fiber
- Experience in security basics for infrastructure risk management
- Experience with DHCP, LDAP, SSSD, NFS, SMB, and related system services
- Experience in storage hardware setup incl. SAN/NAS, RAID, and ZFS configuration
- Experience with DevOps tools like Ansible, KVM hypervisor, and automated deployment practices
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools like Nagios, NMS, and Jira for alerts and issue tracking
