Oracle DBA - Onsite Interview

• 6 or more years in Oracle database design, analysis, and performance tuning
• Proficiency in Oracle database structures and stored procedures
• Experience with enterprise application and service design
• Experience in multi-tier system/application development (SOA, Microservices, etc.)
• Experience with Agile software development lifecycle (e.g., Scrum)
• Experience in creating technical and functional design documentation
• Experience in performance optimization and query tuning
• Experience with monitoring solutions for database health and performance metrics
• Experience with logical and physical data modeling
• Experience in creating schemas across Production, UAT, and Dev environments
• Experience with scripting for database table creation and data management
• Experience with data dictionary maintenance and standards enforcement
• Experience in database support and on-call operational troubleshooting
• Proficiency in communication and collaboration across technical teams

• Provide Oracle database administration and performance tuning support
• Optimize complex workflows and data models
• Support design and implementation of logical and physical data models
• Collaborate with developers and analysts on schema changes
• Monitor database performance, locking issues, and backup status
• Apply tuning strategies during and post-migration
• Coordinate with teams to implement data integrity and redundancy controls
• Evaluate user requests for new data structures
• Script, test, and deploy database components
• Execute disaster recovery procedures and perform threshold benchmarking
• Ensure database accessibility compliance for user interface tools
• Address issues related to assistive technologies and EIR Accessibility standards
• Provide on-call production support for critical application databases
• Communicate technical issues with cross-functional teams
