Job Details
Title: Network Engineer
Location: New York, NY - Onsite
Contract
Responsibilities include:
Support and enhance our wireless infrastructure with a focus on planning and designing for
future needs
Providing continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and maintenance execution for
Wireless Network Services
Support and utilization of monitoring technologies
Assisting in the secure implementation and ongoing configuration of Network Services with
a focus on Wi-Fi and security
Drives scoping, planning, and methodology for critical projects and drives execution
Identifying problems in the environment and driving them to resolution
Contributes to Business Continuity, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery designs for
Network Services
Identify and stay current on industry vulnerabilities and implement updates to protect the
environment.
Creating and updating network infrastructure documentation
Documenting incidents, problems, and requests in the company ticketing system
Respond to outage alerts for multiple service areas based on our follow-the-sun support
model
Provide advanced data and situational analysis as required
Work with Vendors until resolution (hardware, software, service)
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure swift response to any global network issues.
May lead or mentor employees
Based out of the LA office with some travel to other global locations
Required Capabilities
Skill set maintaining and monitoring a multi-site / multi-national network with a minimum of 10 years
experience in the following technologies and skills:
Advanced wireless design and implementation experience especially with Cisco Wireless
solutions
Support the internet of things including security cameras, digital signage, and Wi-Fi devices
Cisco Integrated Services Engine (ISE), Prime, Firepower
Cisco ASAs, FTDs, and FMC
Cisco ISR/ASR routers
Cisco routing and advanced LAN / WAN configurations for high availability
Cisco IOS XE
Azure networking

Desired Capabilities
Understanding of Cisco VoIP or other VoIP audio traffic
Experience with MS Teams, especially video conferencing
Microsoft PowerShell scripting
Previous experience with Cisco UCS
Working in an ITIL environment
Experience with system virtualization (VMware/ Hyper-V)
CCNP Wireless or CWNA certification
A/V or Theater experience a plus
