*Job Summary:*
We're seeking an experienced System Administrator to lead the migration of our mainframe applications to a cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe administration and experience with cloud deployment technologies.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Mainframe to Cloud Migration*: Plan, coordinate, and execute the migration of mainframe applications to a cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
2. *System Administration*: Administer and maintain mainframe and cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
3. *Cloud Deployment*: Design and implement cloud deployment strategies, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
4. *Troubleshooting*: Troubleshoot mainframe and cloud-based system issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.
*Requirements:*
1. *Mainframe Experience*: 5 years of experience in mainframe administration, including z/OS, z/VM, and JCL.
2. *Cloud Experience*: 2 years of experience with cloud deployment technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
3. *Technical Skills*: Strong understanding of mainframe and cloud-based systems, including operating systems, storage, and networking.
4. *Certifications*: IBM Certified System Administrator - z/OS or equivalent cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
