Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the geology team that is responsible for independently evaluating project data and estimating resources, many of which will be publicly reported. These resource-related projects involve three-dimensional (3D) modeling of lithology, structure, and geochemistry of mineral deposits. Experience in data compilation and evaluation and 3D modeling is beneficial. Some domestic and international travel for projects development is expected. Candidate must be a strong team player to collaborate with the rest of our staff.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- At a minimum, a bachelor of science degree in geology, geological engineering, or related field.
- 0-5 years of experience as a resource, exploration, mine development, and/or production geologist including:
- Experience with mapping, drilling campaigns, core logging, and sampling
- Familiarity with project databases and drill-sample collection and processing procedures
- Experience in industrial minerals, cement, crushed stones, sand and gravels, resource modeling, mineralogy and/or geochemistry is helpful Previous experience with 3D modeling components of mining software is helpful
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional Geologist (PG) registration or ability to obtain license after employment
- Excellent interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
