The Civil Engineering Intern will work under the direct supervision of experienced engineering staff. This position involves work tasks that support the planning, design, and construction of various water resource engineering projects, and general site civil development. Interdisciplinary work with hydrogeological science staff is also anticipated. Additional responsibilities include:

Work Schedule: Temporary full-time position, 40 hours per week, during the summer 2025 break.
Compensation: Hourly wage depends on education and experience, plus statutory insurance requirements.

Job Description
The Civil Engineering Intern will work under the direct supervision of experienced engineering staff. This position involves work tasks that support the planning, design, and construction of various water resource engineering projects, and general site civil development. - Hydrologic/hydraulic analyses
- Calculationsand design
- Reports, figure, and technical document preparation
- Computer-aided design/drafting (AutoCAD)
- GIS analysis
- Fieldwork and construction oversight
- Client meetings and interaction
Candidates must:
- Be working toward a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
- Have strong computer skills, especially in using spreadsheets
- Have a valid driver’s license and be capable of fieldwork
- Have experience or coursework with surface water modeling and computer programming
