Seeking Full-Time Therapist for First Responders and Agencies Asheville Police and Fire Departments
Responder Support Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Therapist to join our team in Asheville, providing support to first responders and other key agencies in the community. This is a full-time salaried position with a competitive compensation package, including comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off (PTO), 401(k), and numerous paid holidays.

Responsibilities:
Provide therapy and counseling services to first responders (police, fire, EMS) and other agency personnel
Utilize evidence-based practices to support clients' mental health and well-being
Offer individual, group, and crisis intervention support
Maintain accurate and confidential case records
Collaborate with other professionals and agencies as needed to support clients
Qualifications:
Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
Licensed Therapist or provisional with Board registration (LCSW, LCMHC,PsyD, LMFT, or equivalent) in North Carolina
Experience working with trauma-informed care is preferred
Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various agencies
Compassion, empathy, and dedication to the well-being of first responders, showing commitment and unwavering support when providing critical counselling services.
