Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate can make informed decisions considering data, options, and potential impacts and possess good negotiation skills. Strong analytical attention to detail. Good organizational skills.
- Maintain that demands are resolved in a minimum of 30 days with an average resolution time of 20 days
- Hold a solid understanding of the FL PIP Statue/insurance policy.
- Analyze claims to determine coverage issues, facts, and to defend/settle lawsuits.
- Review claim files to determine if frontline adjusters paid correctly.
- Analyze and respond with technical accuracy to demands, demand responses, and related correspondence.
- Negotiate cost-effective settlements with attorneys
- Manage expenses (e.g., monitor; seek to keep costs low)
- Ensure litigation deadlines are met by closely monitoring case status.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely records.
- Continuously develop knowledge and expertise (e.g., keep current on job-relevant laws, regulations, trends, and emerging issues).
- Conduct activities in compliance with applicable Federal & State laws, and company regulations and guidelines.
- Prepare written materials that are clear, supported by facts, and contain proper spelling and grammar,
- Coordinate strategy with defense counsel.
- Keep management apprised of developments.

- Bachelor’s degree
- Bilingual Spanish/English (Preferred)
- Valid and current 620 License
- Minimum of 5 years of automobile PIP claims experience, including responding to PIP demands
- Strong analytical skills, including problem-solving and creativity/innovation.
- Superb writing and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with the ability to adapt quickly
- Excellent verbal, written, and overall people management skills
- Solid computer skills/ MS Office with Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Extensive knowledge in all areas of claims handling
- Prior litigation handling experience is a plus, but not required
