JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Generalist will support the Corporate HR Manager in a variety of essential HR and administrative functions to ensure smooth operations at Albion. This role involves assisting with payroll, employee onboarding, recruiting, and performance reviews. The HR Generalist will also aid in maintaining accurate records, communicating policy updates, and supporting budget and expense management in collaboration with HR and Accounting teams.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports recruitment efforts. Including conducting or acquiring background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Supports with creation and implementation of yearly budget
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

STANDARD REQUIREMENTS:

· Basic knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations

· Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.

· Effective time management skills and adaptability.

· Maintains dependable attendance and punctuality.

· Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.

· 3 years of experience in human resources, payroll, or a related administrative role.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Must be proficient in Excel.

· Familiarity with payroll processes, HR software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
