As a Regional Vice President in DFW/Houston, you will be coming in at an exciting, early phase of growing our business into a tech-forward property management service that will recreate real estate, and change the industry as we know it today. You are a seasoned veteran in the third-party property management industry, and are passionate about serving both owners and investors. You have focused your career on developing a deep industry network in the Dallas/Houston market. You are forward thinking, ambitious, and always have an edge on the competition.

You will be a core contributor to our growing business as a key advisor on the technology innovations that will continue to grow our business. As a Regional Vice President, you will lead the charge as we launch a rapid growth initiative towards our goal of significantly expanding our Dallas/Fort Worth presence. What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading Dallas/Houston, Texas operations by interfacing with property owners and developing our Texas based teams across DFW AND Houston.
  • Acting as a key domain knowledge leader with the leadership team.
  • Leading efforts to grow ResProp’s footprint throughout Texas.

Team Leadership

  • With a servant leadership approach, you will lead and mentor regional managers, property managers, influence departmental processes and interface with operations to foster professional growth and a high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and set measurable goals for team members ensuring they achieve objectives set through 1:1s, skip level meetings, and quarterly reviews.
  • You will be recruiting and interviewing candidates for communities in your portfolio to ensure our Regional Managers and Property Managers rise to our talent bar.
  • Training your direct and indirect reports on ResProp’s hiring methods and practices acting as final approver on our Property Manager hires.

Portfolio Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Texas multifamily property portfolio(s), ensuring alignment with company goals and client objectives.
  • Interfacing with ownership groups to support and drive asset strategy.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy, and NOI while controlling expenses.
  • Analyze and interpret financial reports, providing actionable recommendations to improve performance.

Marketing

  • Working with your Regional Managers and Property Managers to optimize our marketing strategies to include digital and offline marketing.
  • Review property websites / ILS listings and advertising along with social media postings and content to promote purposes.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing and safety regulations.
  • Implement and oversee operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize property performance and streamline processes.

Market And Industry Knowledge

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and economic conditions impacting the multifamily sector in Texas.
  • Provide guidance on property repositioning, renovations, and acquisitions to maximize asset potential.
  • Represent the company at industry events and maintain visibility within the Texas multifamily market.

Travel

  • This role requires frequent travel throughout Texas to oversee property performance, meet with teams, and interact with clients.

What You Must Have

  • 6-15 years experience in property operations inclusive of third party management of multifamily portfolios between 20-30 assets or 6,000 units
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years at RVP or VP level managing Regional Managers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Deep local market knowledge, specifically within the third party multifamily operations space including regulations, market trends, and key competitors.
  • Long term focus and desire to work in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • CAM or CPM certification preferred.
  • Experience with ResMan and/or Yardi.
  • A laptop to use for work purposes.

  • Applicants will be required to pass a background check and reference check prior to their first day to verify their employment eligibility. For finance focused positions a credit check may also be required.
