POSITION SUMMARY: The Collision Center Estimator is primarily responsible for greeting customers and estimating vehicles for collision work, generating repair order for incoming vehicles, and scheduling customer repairs according to the shop’s present workload while maintaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Works with customer and Collision Center Technicians to identify required repair, generate repair orders, and ensure completion to customer’s standards and satisfaction.
- Schedule the vehicle repairs according to shop availability and track progress on all of his or her vehicles.
- Track and follow up on vehicles that are out for sublet work.
- Follow all insurance company guidelines when writing, handling, and closing an insurance estimate.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with insurance companies.
- Prepare insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimate and recommendations.
- Order parts to ensure speedy completion of work. Prepare final billing for completed repair orders and ensure that all repair orders are closed out upon the completion of the job.
- Communicate with Collision Center Production Manager and customer regarding estimated completion date.
- Ensure that all customer inquiries are satisfied regardless of the Estimator who completed the RO.
- Meet departmental and individual goals as outlined by Collision Department management.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three to five years of experience in auto body repair preferred.
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
