Rest Easy Pest Control is seeking an energetic, motivated, and passionate Business Development Representative to join our growing commercial pest control team. This role is designed for a driven professional who thrives in building relationships, solving problems, and creating a winning culture. As a Business Development Representative, you will focus on expanding our commercial client base by generating leads, meeting prospective clients, and delivering tailored solutions that address their unique pest control needs. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company while making a tangible impact on our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Conduct cold calling and clover-leafing to identify and qualify new leads.
- Schedule and conduct 15 new client meetings per week to showcase company offerings and address specific client concerns.
- Scheduled prospecting calls to set up new appointments and expand the client base.
- Sales & Negotiation:
- Build compelling proposals and lead negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.
- Pipeline & CRM Management:
- Use CRM to maintain an up-to-date pipeline, record client interactions, and monitor progress.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and outcomes.
- Collaboration & Team Engagement:
- Participate in 1-on-1 meetings, department meetings, and strategy sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to share insights and develop effective approaches.
- Networking & Professional Development:
- Attend industry networking events to build professional relationships and identify opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the pest control or service industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems (experience with PestPac is a plus).
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a focus on exceeding targets.
